FashionStories stands for creating fashion concepts, by delivering total package from conceptualizing the idea of fashion collection and bringing it to life.

The person behind FashionStories is Aleksandra, freelance fashion designer, based in Trebnje, Slovenia.

Afer finishing High School of design and photography in Ljubljana, Aleksandra graduated from fashion and textile design in Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in University in Ljubljana, and received the highest University Student Preseren award for her bachelor’s degree in stage costume design.

After finishing her degree, she enrolled post-graduate study and she started to work as a theatre costume designer and illustrator, working for many slovenian theathre and book publishing houses. Working for individual customers gave her understanding of total garment making process, from sketch to pattern cutting, as well mastering the art of sewing/tailoring. Experiences in theathre costume design, fashion design and illustration, gave her knowledge and skills to become extremely creative, open-minded and versatile fashion designer.

Over past nine years she has been working in fashion industry as a fashion designer, designing commercial fashion men and woman collections / visual identity for well established european fashion brand. Her expertise is

developing fashion concepts and designs, from initail ideas to finalized garments.

By honoring her skills and expertise in fashion design and visual identity, she is determined to help clients to express themselves through fashion by launching their dream collections. Most carefully persuing clients demands, her goal is to deliver collection worthy of client aims and wishes.

Aleksandra is extremely versatile designer, capable of working on different fashion and other visual identity projects.

She specializes in developing the whole package from initial idea to finalized products&branding incl. labeling/packaging for activewear, outerwear, sportswear, streetwear, performance, uniforms, sustainable fashion, jersey, knit, menswear, womenswear and childrenswear design collections.

Working from Trebnje, Slovenia, she is always opened to face-to-face consultations, as well remotely through email, phone, messaging services, and video calls.
